List of web services
Subcon Town provides various web services that can be used in your web browser or with a compatible client. These will typically use a separate user account instead of using your linux user name and password, as they cannot be integrated with Linux's user system.

| File hosting | Nextcloud | https://cloud.subcon.town | Cloud file hosting service that can be used to store your files and synchronize them between multiple clients. Also supports hosting your contact data and calendar. |
| Git repositories | Gogs | https://factory.subcon.town | Git repository hosting service that looks like github, but is free and open source. |
| Fossil repositories | Fossil SCM | https://museum.subcon.town | Fossil SCM webserver that will publicly host the Fossil repositories in user home directories. |
| Wiki hosting | Dokuwiki | https://library.subcon.town | Simple wiki system running on PHP. Used to host information about Subcon Town, but users can also create and maintain their own articles here. |
| Music sharing | Funkwhale | https://odeon.subcon.town | Music hosting and sharing system that can federate using ActivityPub. |
| Microblogging | Akkoma | https://akkos.fritu.re | Microblogging service that federates using ActivityPub. You can use it to talk to anyone on the Fediverse! |
| Instant Messaging | Prosody IM | https://jab.subcon.town | Instant messaging service using the XMPP protocol, can be used to talk with any other server using XMPP. (Requires an XMPP client) |
Getting an account on a webservice
If you are a member of Subcon Town, you will have likely already been asked and provided with account details. If not, or you reconsidered, you can always ask the admin for an account. Note that these services are only for members of Subcon Town.
